The Godhead
We believe in one God, the Creator, Preserver and Ruler of all things, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who are co-eternal in nature, co-equal in power and glory, each with distinct personal attributes but without division of essence or being. (Gen.1:1-2, 26, 27; Deut. 6:4; John 1:1-2, 14, 10:30, 17:3-5; Phil. 2:6-8)
The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ:
~ Is the eternal Son of God and equal with God.
~ Became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin.
~ Lived a sinless life on earth.
~ Died on the cross at Calvary as a satisfactory, substitutionary sacrifice for sinners.
~ Was buried in and arose from Joseph’s tomb. We believe in the literal bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
~ Ascended into heaven and is now exalted at God’s right hand as our high priest, advocate, and mediator.
~ Is coming again for His saints before the tribulation.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, equal with the Father and the Son; that He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; and that He is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption. We believe that He is the Divine Teacher who guides believers into all truth and that it is the privilege and duty of all the saved to be filled with (controlled by) the Spirit. We also believe that the Holy Spirit gives to each believer a gift or gifts for the edifying of the body.
The Scriptures
We believe in the verbal and plenary inspiration of the Old and New Testaments which are the Word of God. The are the final authority for faith and life, and inerrant in the original writings.
Man
We believe that God created the universe and man in six literal 24 hour periods. God created man in His image and in a state of innocence, but that in Adam’s sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God. Man is totally depraved, being born in sin and under condemnation, and of himself, without Christ, is utterly unable to remedy his lost condition.
Salvation
We believe in full salvation which has been accomplished for us solely through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ who was made sin for us, dying in our place. We believe that by simple faith in Him our sins are forgiven, new life from God imparted, and we become sons of God. We believe that nothing can add in the least degree to the merit of the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross for us.
Regeneration
We believe that regeneration is a divine and instantaneous work of the Holy Spirit, whereby God imparts eternal life to one dead in trespasses and sins.
Justification
We believe that justification is the judicial act of God where He declares us righteous through the blood of Christ. We are justified by the imputation of our sins to Christ’s account and His righteousness being imputed to our account.
The Church
We believe in the one true Church, the spiritual body and bride of the Lord Jesus Christ, composed of believers from Pentecost to the Rapture, into which believers are baptized by the Holy Spirit. We believe that the local church is an organization composed of professing believers, instituted for the purpose of fellowship, worship, and service. In matters of administration and practice, it is self-governing.
Baptism
We believe that Christian baptism by immersion of the believer in water in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit is the Biblical mode of baptism and testifies to the believer’s faith in and identification with the crucified, buried, and risen Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Lord's Supper
We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a memorial ordinance by which believers remember and show forth the Lord’s death until He comes.
The Eternal Security and the Assurance of Believers
We believe that all the redeemed are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever. We believe that it is the privilege of believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation through the testimony of God’s Word which, however, clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion to the flesh.
The Personality of Satan
We believe that Satan is a person, the author of sin and the instigator of the fall of man; that he is the open and declared enemy of God and man; and, that he shall be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire.
